Faces of Kumang and Keling

The semi-final of the Miri Divisional Gawai Dayak Kumang/Keligit and Keling/Belawan contest was a successfully held last Sunday at Bintang Megamall. The competition this year saw a record number of entries. Here are some of my favourite shots.

Those who were eliminated did caught our attention too! I hope they’ll be available for future photo session.

Gawai specialties

This Gawai was the longest break that I have ever taken – 7 days! Well, I said to myself, “I have worked hard, and I deserved this break.”

And, I treated myself to a 15-kg roasted pig, freshly caught talipia fish from our fish pond and some ‘just-on-time’ sago worms. Enjoy the photos..
