Installing traffic lights is not cheap, what more to say a smart one like this one in Miri and Kuching. The reason why the GPS government upgrade our traffic light system is to smoothen the traffic flow.
With this smart system, we do not need to wait for too long for the light to change to green. That is shorter traveling time, indeed.
In Miri, however, this traffic lights have been victims of road accident. I just wonder how long this one at Airport Road will last before someone knock it down. Are our road users roadworthy?
So, dear Mirian, please drive carefully and observe the traffic lights. It is better to slow down and be safe than to be hurt in an accident!
