I have completed the website interface design. For the interface design, I used Adobe Photoshop CS3 and put all the pieces together using Microsoft FrontPage 2003. The fine tuning is done using PSPad Editor before being upload to the webserver using CoreFTP Lite.
The phpBB script was successfully installed at 11.33 am at http://www.sadiakuching.org/portal and that marked 80% completion of the whole portal. The rest of the work would confine to fine tuning the table sizes of the forum and to create the pages for SADIA’s organisational information.

The domain name SADIAKUCHING.ORG has been successfully registered on 15 August 2007. I am currently working on the website offline using XAMPP for Windows application. XAMPP is an easy to install Apache distribution containing MySQL, PHP and Perl. XAMPP is really very easy to install and to use – just download, extract and start. You can have a try too.
