You are given only FIVE (5) minutes to perform your best ever dance and get the chance to enter the grand finale in Kuching, AND, the Champion will be representing Sarawak to an International dance competition.
How much does it cost to join this competition?
Aiyaaa.. cheap cheap lar. ONLY RM20 per group (yes untuk satu kumpulan).
How big can the dance group be?
Hmmm.. minimum of FIVE will be just nice but if you have TWELVE, that’s the maximum, said the organiser.. hahahaa (penuh la stage mun kedak group Datuk Siti Nurhaliza).
Music for my dance?
Burn it in CD.. Hmm, the organiser system is not so canggih wan, k. So, don’t give them those CDRW, DVDRW sort of stuff. Just plain CD.
Other rules, you need to read it yourself la, ok people!

We celebrated John’s 16th birthday at Parkcity Everly’s Melinau Terrace last night. Here are some photos of the small family dinner.
Thank you to the management of Parkcity for the slice.. The chocolate cake was great!

Grilled salmon for me, with tartar sauce. Yummmy! Thanks to fella from Kemidan, Awik who prepared it for me.
John’s favourite was the sushi corner.
I couldn’t resist this grilled prawn and of course fried kway teow! Thanks to Joshua for the excellent kway teow.
Overall, it was a great food outing. Worth the money (RM48++ per adult and RM22++ per child). Nevertheless, diners will appreciate another air-cond unit at the Non-smoking area. It can be a little warmer at that corner (we chose the non-smoking area that evening).

I know many of us were not invited to the New Development Concept for Longhouses seminar held recently and the next one is scheduled to be in Sibu on 19th-20th April.
We have made effort to reproduce the third paper of the seminar. You may download the Kertas Kerja 3 – Status Tanah, Urusniaga, Pengukuran dan Pengeluaran Surat Hakmilik Tanah, which has been getting interesting debate among my readers.
We still maintain our stand that the design for the new longhouse needs to be review inline with our tradition, customs and practices. We advise the designer to refer to the Majlis Adat Istiadat Sarawak for a better understanding of the Iban customs.
