Its Friday and what a week it was. This week is more like an Iban lingua week. First, I had the opportunity to meet the teachers who make the teaching of Iban language in Sarawak school a success. And later in mid-week, I had the chance to meet the columnist of Dayak Music – Jimmy Adit or better known as Jadit.
I hope Jadit would convert his writing into digital media in the form of a journal. Hence, we will be able to read it online, anytime and anywhere. (Ninga nuan kaban?… anang lama berunding ke ngaga blog Dayak Music).
To the teachers and to the man who promote Dayak music — cheers and ngarap ke ulih betemu baru.

A good and a historical week for you UK. It marks the beginning of new things. Together we hope to see the continuous development of Iban Language especially in the field of education and music industry.

I made a typo error a while ago regarding my pet name.Among friends I am called indugading.
Again,I would like to comment that there is so much more that we can learn from the mastering of the Iban Language.Having missed out so much of it,it certainly will be a bonus if someone from the Iban Community can shared with readers like myself,the Iban penyaps which I believe is fast diminishing now,unless the youths of today picks up the talent en art of the bards.

Recently,I discouvered alot of articles published in the Iban language,whether through blogs or the Sarawak Post Iban Column,by chance en one have no idea what a day it was for me.I have been living away from home,Kuching many years(30yrs) en in desperate need of learning how to read en write in Iban in a proper manner.Iban,is a beautiful language
en I fully agree with galau that we should pursue the continuous development of this beautiful language.

Indudaging, well.. you are in luck! We have just started to work on 1iban.com where the official language will be Iban. Currently, we are translating the script into Iban language.. However, you may register to get started with Iban!
