The inaugural Gong Festival went smoothly last night at the Imperial Ballroom in Miri. The event was officially declared by our Deputy Chief Minister of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Dr. George Chan and was hosted by Datuk Michael Manyin and his Tourism Ministry.

The Dayak Association Miri (DAM) was honoured to be part of this great event, and I coordinate our participation in my capacity as the Youth Chairman of DAM. I would like to thank Mdm. Jacqueline Selaka and her cultural team for their hard work to get the team ready for their performance, which include the Gendang Rayah and Tarian Ngajat Semain.
