Its Christmas season again, and this year I am thinking of getting roasted turkey for the kids. The enquiries started and.. Mega Hotel is not selling (can’t find a halal supplier?), next is Dynasty Hotel, and they are offering take-away counter at RM30 plus per kg.

This morning I drove all the way to Lutong bazaar for my favourite breakfast – charcoal-cooked rice porridge. The stall is located at Lutong Cafe, or better known as Kedai Wong, since the surname of the coffeeshop owner is Wong. Priced at only RM3.00 per bowl, it is served with meat ball, one raw chicken egg, with a little salt and seasoning.
Today I decided to check Restoran Muara located at the Miri Waterfront commercial centre. The restaurant is famous for its nasi lalapan – rice served with eight different food item (including the sambal belacan). The cost for our lunch (3 pax) was RM33.60.
