The people of Sarawak who are owners to NCR land would be grateful if such an approach be apply to the long outstanding issues on the status of their land. There are so many court cases involving NCR titles claimed by the native of Sarawak. The faster this cases are solved, the faster the native can develop their land on their own.

I received my evaluation copy of Microsoft Windows Home Server last Friday after 17 days of waiting for this consignment to arrive from Singapore.

The package contain three disc namely, the server installation DVD, the Home Server connector CD and the Home Computer Restore CD.

With allocation of up to 10 computers connected and protected, this may be the cheapest solution for longhouses to share their files and getting connected to the upcoming WiMAX broadband. (You need a broadband Internet connection for Home Server to function).

I would love to assist any longhouse (who at the moment have the wireless broadband connectivity).. although its a little slow for a broadband, but it is worth implementing. at least you can check your email!

I will share with you my experience using the Home Server in my post to come.

Features at a glance

  • Digital memories and media stored and organized in a central location
  • Home computers backed up daily, automatically
  • Simple restore of lost files or even entire hard drive contents
  • Complete access to files from both inside and outside the home
  • A secure and personalized website address for sharing photos and home videos
  • Easily add storage space and new software capabilities

All the media is focusing on Sept. 16 dateline, the RPK Case, the Datuk Ahmad Ismail racist statement, and little is written on the UMNO-led Barisan Nasional’s delivery of subsidised diesel to rural Sarawak. Day by day, night after nights, we are waiting and as usual, from one election to another.

We thought it was fast, like they said, immediate implementation.. And, now they are planning (planning stage, you know) to build rural distribution centres (that too will take ages to be approve)… by then the rural community will face tougher life.

To me, the Barisan Nasional is no longer look upon as a good deliver.. and with the growing corruption cases among the top management, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee… Malaysia is sick! Sick of politicians who have nothing else to do but saving their own assholes.

There is nothing better than a BIG CHANGE.. Even the Americans are going for a major change of leadership – the first black President!

Today we read about SCORE, and it promise some sort of road network for the dissapointed people of Kapit. To me the UMNO-led Barisan Nasional is just not paying much attention to Sarawak knowing well the Sarawak is safe under the leadership of our Chief Minister.

There are too many things that we cannot see and do not know of what’s happening in Sarawak. Too many government secrets. Even the goodies are kept secrets.

The only thing we can expect is – see it when its there. And the bottom line is.. there is nothing for us to wait for (nadai utai agi ke di anti.. ke bisi pan enda datai.. di sebut beliun, di sepi ke nadai.. kapa nyebut utai ke ba awan enti utai ke di tanah tu enda ga ulih).

Even the sinking road in Miri that is federal-administered (via Kementerian Kerja Raya) is becoming a continuous problem to road users here despite the reply from YB Andy Chia.. Nope, its not in the 2009 budget (too small probably).
