Again, the Dayak representatives and leaders failed to respond to disaster such as the one that happened to the Punan tribe in Ulu Tatau recently. And, again the Chinese representatives are the first to appear on newsprint, responding to the issue.

What is the point of having Dayak reps when (at times like this) they are not there. 1st, they are too quiet in the Parliamentary or DUN seatings (well, exception to the Dayak ministers who have the obligation to answer), 2nd, they are too slow (or not responding at all) to events like this.

Recently, another Chinese reps urge the Dayak minister to keep organising forum, meetings that can assist and upgrade Dayak businesses. Why wait for the Chinese when we ourselves are the bumiputera?

Sick ..isn’t it?

After all what is has done for the country, he is no better than Datuk Michelle Yeoh, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, Datuk Nicole David and now Datuk Lee Chong Wei.

No datukship because he is a Sarawakian and a Dayak, or better an Iban! That is how the BN look at it, the BN who award datukship.

Sick government of the day!

I was almost cut off from civilisation for the last few days if not for my aging O2 XDA II pocket PC that has enabled me to check my important email accounts. My Acer Aspire 5572ANWXMi notebook’s power port got it small pin detached (the one pointed by the arrow). So, it have to go to the ICU of ActivSolution for parts exchange..

I was lucky that my Acer notebook have its power port separated from the mainboard, otherwise, it would cost me a bomb to replace it. At least the power port only cost me RM110 (incl courier charges from KL).

Learning point
Check that the power pin is larger and tougher! A quick glance at ASUS notebook, their power pin is about twice as large as the one shown above. And, better still if it is separated from the notebook mainboard.

So, ask your dealer on this simple technical things before you decide to purchase one next time…

EE.. PC
Me: Cute, small, light but 40Gb (hmmmm not enough to store my programs).

YB, there is nothing wrong of an Iban being the Deputy Prime Minister. I believe the Dayaks are able to shoulder that responsibility. What if the BN offer the post to a Dayak today, would it be just another ‘under the moon dream‘ issue?

Just because we are in BN, doesn’t mean it is impossible for other Dayaks who are not in BN to be the DPM.

What about the promises that BN candidates gave during elections (one election after another election?) Where can we see the status of those promises? We just hope this is not going to be another press statement and public speeches.

Press statements and public speeches goes no where when there is no follow-up to the relevant agencies. Otherwise, it is also considered as ‘under the moon election campaign promises’.

Given the chances, any Dayak can be an asset to its community. Not all those who do not agree with BN are stupid and unable. And not all who voice out like me are against the government.

YB, we take you and the rest of the Dayak BN reps, to the ground and do your homework (recall your election speeches and start writing those letters to the relevant ministries). Where possible make public those letters that you have wrote and sent, so that we know that you have done what is needed to be done.

Where are the bridges, feeder roads, etc etc etc.. (the list is too long to list out here, and it only makes us looks bad).

Whatever it is, Sarawakians hope that it will not be another 5% hydro royalty income. Why do we need to continuously burn ourselves to brighten up someone else lives? It has been a week and still no diesel coming, and it looks like no one pays attention to the diesel problem with the Malay fishermen.

It has been 20 years or so, and no ones actually do work in Bakong-Long Lapok Road.

By all means, please build all the dams if its viable economically, but give back what is due to Sarawakians. We do not mind our leaders (whether its BN or Pakatan Rakyat) driving all the best cars, heli, cruise boat in the world, but deliver what is due to the rakyat too. No one will complaint if their well being are being taken care of.

Why Sarawakian make noise? Simply because they have been waiting and waiting and waiting from one election to another election, after election, manifesto after manifesto.. in the end, all are good on paper and the reality remains unchange. Maybe we are blind to the what has been done, so please open our eyes and tell us what is what, when is when, where is where….
