Special lane for water transport on Miri roads

Sarawak memerlukan jurutera jalan raya yang lebih efisen dan kreatif. Buat jalan, buat longkang, tapi pengaliran air drpd jalan raya ke longkang sik ada. Perlukah rakyat Sarawak nunggu 10 tahun sebelum Datuk Yong buat penilaian baharu? Jalan (JKR), longkang (DID), pembersihan jalan raya (MBM), hujan (MOSTI), bersih lon…gkang (Alam Sekitar).. byk juak menteri diperlukan molah kerja tok.

  1. Its not obvious every road design in Malaysia especially in Sarawak have such problem of water clog..

    Usually, if those in engineering know; side kerbs/natural kerbs should be lower than road surface to allow water to flow out to drainage, there is about 0.5 degree slope.

    nothing biggie to solve such matter, just a proper cut to drain is sufficient to drive away the water.

    such happen, bcos there is lack of research done in civil & construction of such kerb by locals when we have Curtin just at our own Miri.
